maybe pre e??

so my entire pregnancy i have lost weight i was smaller at 6 months pregnant than i was before i was pregnant, then all of a sudden 7 months pregnant i gained 20 pounds!!.. i had the flue for 3 weeks so i wasnt over eating and 9 times out of 10 if i did eat i would puke.. :/ , also my legs swell horribly my ankles get as big as the muscle part of my calfs sometimes. and it hardly ever goes down. at my 7 month check up my blood pressure was up 15 points.(my blood pressure isnt out of the normal range its just high for what mine usually is) i get really dizzy sometimes and feel like im goin to pass out. the dr said i should stop eating salt and potato chips. (kinda rude he added potato chips i am bigger but i dont eat potato chips anymore lol) the thing is i havnt added salt to my food since i have become pregnant, none while cooking and none before i eat it. except for when i eat eggs ill add a little salt, but eggs are not a big part of my diet. my dr wont test me for pre eclampsia he says its all salt and nothing else. i went 24 hours with my feet up in a recliner and up on pillows while in bed, the swelling didnt go down much, and i went on a all fresh fruit diet for the same 24 hours. nothing changed. i told him that and he talks down to me saying i have no idea what i am talkin about and hes the dr and if i knew everything why would i even be seeing him. ..... ( just a rant about my dr... he calls me amber, my names amanda. he lost the blood for my 2 half of the downs syndrome test and didnt tell me until too late to do it again. and he never tells me whats going on when he wants blood work or anything he sits on his computer the entire time im there and at the end of the appointment hell say go to the hospital for blood or not if i ask him what the blood is for hell just say some tests that he dont want to worry me. ).... so do you think i have pre e or do you think there might be a chance i should just realax and trust him?... btw im 29 weeks. thank you for all of your advice.

If your doctor isn't taking you serious I would get a second opinion. I wouldn't want pre e to go undiagnosed.

Do you have protein in your urine?

there are only two doctors left in my county that will deal with pregnant women. I had one dr at the begining of my pregnancy and he prescribed chantex (spelling?) and my friend was seeing him at the same time. he would do a pelvic exam every appnt with her and make sexual comments to her. i seen him once then switched to the last dr in my county. ... my dr wont tell me if there is anything in my urine or not. he dont tell me about that ever.

First off that was horrible to read. Honestly in my opinion I would be heading to the hostipal. To much salt will not cause dizziness. There is no high range for blood pressure just what is higher then normally for you. Pre-e is very dangerous and go from bad to worst in hours. You need to do a24 hour urine collection tocheck for protein to tell if you have pre-e. All the symptoms are what I had. I eventully started getting these blinding white flases before my eyes. You also need to watch out for pain kind of under your right breast. You NEED a second opinion and anew doctor.

i have been calling around to find one in another county that is kinda close, (getting around is hard i dont have a car right now) but a lot of them say that since im 29 weeks pregnant there not going to accept me this late, especially since i think i have pre e. im a ftm so i call about once a week asking questions and stuff im annoying to them so im sure they can spot my type a mile away lol.. i just am getting stressed and worried. Natalie is still kicking normally and everything so im not thinking its an emergency situation. but i am trying everything to prevent it from getting like that.

All of this!!! that is how mine started and at the same time during my pregnancy. There are not very good doctors where I live either. I drive 45 minutes to get to my doctor now and a bigger, better equipped hospital. Well worth the extra time and effort. Would you have that option?

im not sure where im going to be going for now on but i do know its going to be a different county and really the biggest trouble is finding a dr who will take me this late. there are programs where they send a van to pick you up and take you to the drs for free, so i think i can use one of those if needed. but a dr with my insurance and how far i am and all that is hard to find..

You can not prevent this!! It will happen and it will get worse no matter what you do. It won't stop the baby from kicking and moving. What it will do if it gets toba d is that you'll go into a seizure then putting your life and babies life at risk. I am by no means trying to scare you. I would be going to ahostipal for a second opinion.
