Just saw a thread that made me wonder this..

Say your husband, child/children, and yourself are trapped somewhere
Rescue was coming but it would be 3 weeks.
There is no food, no way of obtaining food.. But you have water and tools to make a fire.


Now, say your DH dies... Would you eat him?
I mean you and your kid/kids are starving, what would you do?
You will die if you don't eat for 3 weeks.. And he's already dead.

as a last resort....maybe. hard to say unless I was in the situation.

I wouldn't eat my husband. Nor would I feed his body to my kids.
We could eat our clothes. Whatev.

Couldn't do it. I can't even eat animals if they resemble what they did alive, so I'm pretty positive I couldn't eat the love of my life no matter what the circumstances are.

Yes, I know it sounds messed up but for my kid I would. When survival kicks in we are able to things we thought we never would.

Yes. It would be hard, but I know I would do whatever I could to keep my child alive, and then myself.

Yep. And I'd hope my husband would make the same choice if I die. My body is nothing after I'm dead. Likewise, whatever my husband WAS is gone if he's dead. That is a shell. If it keeps my kids alive then I would absolutely. It's what he'd want.

Yes definitely I'd probably take my kids and his body to lay him to rest in front of them, and then while they were sleeping take some meat off and tell them it was something else.

I don't think I could... I would start cooking grass or something. Anything other option. The mental/emotional scarring my kids would endure from eating their DAD would be too much for me.

I am pretty sure that I would. Honestly, I would be down with eating a kid or feeding my kids a sibling.

No, don't think I could. Because what happens when everything that's eatable is gone? We'll die of starvation anyways, with the thought that we just ate daddy/husband.

No. The chance you're somewhere there isn't food the chance of being rescued is pretty nil.
