For the people saying no you absolutely would not eat your husband.
What would you do for your kids?
There is no food AT ALL, no grass, plants, nothing.
so when they are crying for food, starving to death.. What would you do?

Exactly. I'd convince myself that it was for the best and would allow me to keep apart of them with me forever, like some Native American traditions say.
I'd also do everything in my power to keep the kids from know what was going down.

I couldn't bring myself to the emotional place to butcher a human, no matter how hungry. Sorry, I just can't.

A lot of people in these real life situations don't either.

Get to steppin. If there is nothing like that out there, there is nothing to prepare his body to be eaten anyways. I could never give it to them raw especially since after a few days his body would start to rot anyways.

i would. i couldn't just let my daughter starve, and i need to be around to take care of her. it would be a smurffy situation, but i would hide his body, and secretly cook the meat and tell DD it was an animal or something. that way she wouldn't have to live with the guilt of eating her father.

For the lactating mothers , we could just eat our DH and keep our milk supply up so we could nurse our kids. Would you be down for that?

Like I said in the OP rescue is coming but in 3 weeks.
A grown man will feed you for that long.

Couldnt it be toxic eating a person? I mean...how do you know when its done lmao.

If he died, he probably has infectious bacteria and crap that isn't safe to eat anyway.

Or covered in Urine/fecal matter etc. when you're stranded like that.
