Gardener's pie

Which is Shepard's pie without the sheep (so vegetarian.) Does anyone have a good recipe?

The whole basis of Shepherd's Pie, is browned ground beef with mashed potatoes on top. How do you do that without the ground beef? I can see substituing a minor ingredient, but not one of the two pillars the recipe is built upon. Maybe try meat replacement crumbles?

Just the name sorry. It really did make me lol. Plus ive never heard of it!

I guess you could just put a bunch of veggies on the bottom with some cheese and cream and then do the mashed potatos on top. But that doesn't sound very good
