for a friend

my friend contacted me this morning unsure of what to think and wanted some reassurance from me although I couldn't give much I said some kind words and told him I would pray for him and his girlfriend. he had told me that at 8 months pregnant she went in for a check up and they couldn't find the babys heartbeat. he said they were at the hospital having an emergency sonogram done when he called. so my question for everyone is has something like this happened to you and your baby was born alright? I know this isn't good at all but just wondering if the baby has a chance  thanks everyone

How heartbreaking   My sister went in for a check up with her third child at 25 weeks and they couldn't find a heartbeat....honestly, the emergency ultrasound is more of a confirmation than a trying to find it. I'm so sorry   Just be there for them, they're going to need the support.

Yeah...I've honestly never seen this come out with a happy ending. I'm so so sorry for your friend   No one should have to go through that.

I have only heard a good outcome when the MW's doppler machine was broken.

thank you everyone. I don't think he will want to talk to anyone for a while that just being the type person he is. so I will be preparing some kind words for when I do talk to him. I cant help but to feel guilty now because I had a picture perfect pregnancy with a picture perfect son at the end. however like the old saying says everything happens for a reason. I guess god needed an angel.
