Late Getting Teeth

posted 25th Jan
*Repost
I'm just curious how late did your "late bloomer" get teeth? My oldest had around 6 teeth by her first birthday but my youngest will be 14 months in about 2 weeks and has 2 teeth and no signs of new ones coming in.

p.s.-I'm not asking 25 people to tell me their LO got their first tooth at 4 months and had 16 teeth by 12 months.

Ds got his first 2 teeth at 8 months. I'm terrible and can't remember exactly but i think he had 5 teeth when he turned 12 months. He didn't get his final '2 year' molars until he 2.5

My son didn't get his first tooth until he was just about one. I think his second one followed soon after, then there was a gap. He's three and still getting his molars.

DS got his first tooth at 13 months and got a new one like every week after that. At 3 1/2 his teeth are perfect.

My daughter showed signs of teething at 4 mos but never got sny teeth until closer to 8 or 9 mos. We asked her dr about it and he said there was no reason to be concerned at all. She will be 2 in March and still doesnt have mouth full of teeth.

My LO got his first 2 teeth (they came in at exactly the same time) around 7 months. He's nearly 11 months now and still only has 2.

Im in the same boat ... DD will be 14 months on the 29th and only has 2 bottom teeth. She got them both within a week of turning 5 months. Ive been waiting and waiting for these teeth! I ask the Dr. if it was normal and she not to worry as long as she gets more before she turns 2! But she also said is common for babies to have 8 teeth by their 1st bday!

Lol I hate when I ask something and people seem like they are braggin. Like if I ask how late a baby rolled over and people are like mine rolled over at 2 months and is crawling at 4 months....I'm like...thats not what I asked. I used to get in alot of arguements on here lol

I saw a post a couple weeks ago where a mama posted something about her baby was really small. Healthy, but she was concerned. The baby was say, 5 months and 12lbs[making it up because I don't remember lol]. And everyone was like "I don't know, but my 5 month old is 16lbs." "Mine is 18lbs, he's a chunky boy." Just to brag. I was like you guys are really smurfed up.
