Would this be considered my start day?

So now that DH and I are TTC I'm trying to be super precise tracking my period. A few days ago I had light red spotting when I wiped once but it was just when I wiped and that was all so I didn't think to much about it. Now my period is suppose to start Sunday, but today I've been having brown spotting. Not much but it's still there. Would this be considered the start of my period or no since it's just spotting and it's brown not red? Sorry I'm so clueless about this  

CD 1 is the first day of full on flow, whether it be light or not.. spotting isn't considered a flow.

Cycle Day 1 is the first day of full flow. Spotting doesn't count.
