Quoting Crazzzy Mel:" Anyone have problems with it? This is my 2nd time using Softcups for menstrual purposes. (I've used ... [snip!] ... is it possible the Softcup was positioned wrong or what? I don't think I'll be using them the remainder of my period.."
no problems. If blood was pouring out.. how long had it been in?
it holds the blood in... yes, they say you can wear them up to 12 hours.. but you have to find what works for you. You generally wear them for twice as long as you would a tampon... so it depends on your flow.
I used to wear them 12 hours.. after my last child my flow increased a LOT. now I have to change them every 4 hours or so.
make sure you slide it in parallel to the floor so it's angled right. Don't tilt it upwards like you do a tampon.
