Pain management specialist?

Anyone go to one? What should I expect? I have Chronic Pancreatitis so I need all the relief I can get from the pain it causes.

I don't know about pain specialists but I am sorry about the pancreatitus   my friend erin has it & is always in & out of the hospital because of it
