Breaking co-sleeping Help

posted 25th Jan
Well about 3 weeks ago I layed DS is his bed for the first time in 2 months ( i tried this at 10 months too) to see if he would do well alone. He did great! Well This past weekend I went to my SO moms House and my family kept DS. Well now he screams in his bed. I use to be able to give him a sippy and he would fall right asleep, well I tried holding him and he went straight to sleep. The minute I move him away from my body he screams again. I asked my family if they rocked him to sleep they said no. Well I have no clue whats wrong, I dont want to co-sleep again because me and SO are moving in together and he sleeps really bad. ANy suggestions?

TIA

He's probably afraid that you will not be there for him! Sometimes sleeping without mama there freaks the little ones out.
If it were me, I would give it another try in a week.

I was just thinkig that. Im sahm and I havet been away since he was 4 months but I was in the hospital then. So your saying I should co-sleep again or should I just wait a little while after he falls asleep and lay him in his bed. We sleep in the same room so I didnt think this would ever happen.

I think you should do what you think would be best. But, letting him fall asleep in your bed but putting him in his own would be good.
It's just recently that I have broke my LO of co-sleeping and taking a sippy to bed and he is almost 22 months old. Now, it's to the point where he goes to bed on his own..I just have to give him his animals and tuck him in, turn out the lights..and I don't hear from him for a few hours or the morning

He was wakig up 2 times a night but for the past few days he was until last night. I was only goe 1 night. He is asleep now i let him fall asleep in my bed then put him in his. I would love to continue to cosleep but SO is a bad sleeper.
