And then what happens when you die? He gets to starve to death scared and alone?

Right?

I also believe that in this scenario, there is NO food available. You only have two choices, eat the man or die.

Then I would die. Probably kill my kid and then myself. That one person won't last forever.

What happens when the guy is already eaten? We'll starve, with the thought that we ate some poor innocent man lol

Glad I'm not alone in this.

But who is to say you wouldn't be found by the time the man was devoured. There is plenty of human to eat. A 200lbs man could provide food for 2-3 people for quite a while.

And if you're not found? Then what?

Then at least you had a bit more time?

If you die, who really cares that you ate someone? You're dead.

I mean...the thought is gross, but if I didn't kill the person...whatever. I don't really see how it's all that different from eating other types of meat. I'm not gonna go order a human burrito from the Dahmer Taco Stand, but if my kids were starving, we would do what we had to do.

Especially if in this hypothetical situation the food would last us just long enough to get rescued and we would die otherwise.

I'd care, I'd die with the fact knowing I just fed my kids another human being.

Either way we'd starve to death if no rescue was coming.

Sure would.
Thru history, there have been stories of survival in which there was no choice but the eat a person. The reason we have the awful account of what happened is because there were survivors.

This is the exactly the reason I watch Man vs Wild and Survivorman. Bear Grylls has taught me how to survive nature without cannibalism.

Sure. I'm rather eat roots, leaves and rodents, but what if you didnt have those options?
You could be in blizzard conditions, at high altitude or at sea.
