unique/romantic elopement ideas

Just like the subject says, I'm looking for unique and romantic ideas to elope. Specifically, neat places to do it. We can't do a destination elopement, we have kids and I'm not leaving them overnight and we aren't traveling with a newborn. Also, we are looking for ideas indoors, it's wicked cold out right now. I suggested our local library, and he shot it down. I just really want a nice place for pics, and I am drawing a blank.

Contact a local museum or historic site...great for pictures!

We eloped at a pretty park but it was May so it was pretty warm out. It didn't take that long at all. I didn't see where you live but I think if there were snow or ice on the trees/ground, that would be really pretty for pictures. Just a thought!

It would be pretty, but yesterday was -7 and today it is 2 outside.

Haha yeah it's been the same here, I can't believe how cold it is and we're a lot further south of you!! Maybe wait for a day that's not quite so chilly... 30 is reasonable when you think about how it is now. lol
