Quoting Lynzt:" Since birth my boy will sleep upto 3 hours total a day and was awake just as much on a night, by 4 month ... [snip!] ... how you've been doing things so they can helo to. It takes a bit for them to understand getting used to it Hope it helps abir"
I agree! i did the same exact thing, I was starting to lose my mind until I started a routine. I have a little bit of ppd...so it was making it that much worse. Now that we're on a pretty strict schedule,. things are much easier. You don't feel so out of control and like your life is in disarray because of this new baby, and in turn, you lose your patients much less.
The only thing that's a pain now, is that he's started this nightly routine for himself...lol...I put him to bed with his paci, he spits it out and screams...he'll continue to do this until he tired himself out...which was bringing me back into his room like 10 times a night. I decided I'd put the paci back in his mouth 3-5 times, but after that it's just going to have to stay out. I think he's realized that if he spits it out, it brings me back in the room....so he'll do it over and over lol. Trying to put a stop to it before it gets too bad.
OP- I'm surprised you can still get him in a swaddle! That's great! I wish Aiden would let me swaddle him....he started getting out of his before he was even a month old, and we haven't been able to do it since. He's a wiggler
