What is the youngest guy you would date? And other stuff..

K. Going through a horrible breakup. This sucks. I want my ex back, but he doesnt. So.

I went out last weekend and hung out with an old high school friend. He had a cute friend with him, totally not my normal type but hes cute. He's younger. I'm 29, he's 23.

He seemed to be a complete sweetie. He looked at my hand and saw my two rings I wear on my ring finger, he asked "So are you married?" I said "Oh no I just broke up with my ex of 5 years. Never engaged, this is my grandmas ring." I told him about the other rings I wear, and he said "Those are really beautiful, that's nice that you wear them!" I then did the quick version of our breakup. Said ya know, Im still really hurt. And he then told me about how its okay and not to let anyone tell me it's not okay to hurt.

Well we hung out all night and he's sweet, I'll admit that. Do I need a relationship right now, HELL NO! But do I need to get out and have fun and not lay in bed every night and cry... yes! So the more and more I think of him... I just think that ya know, maybe I could have fun with him. If even as a friend.

But... considering his age... I am 29, I have a 9 year old, IF we dated, would I look like a complete fool? What do you all think?

And I am clueless as hell how to flirt, like.... I dont even know what to do anymore. lol... heelllllpppp!

19 is the youngest. But I'm 21

I'm 25 and wouldn't date someone probably younger than 22-23. I've always dated guys a little older than me.

I honestly wouldn't want to date someone younger than me.

I'm 19 and SO is 24. I don't think I'd date anyone younger than me, no older than SO.....

I'm 29 and I probably wouldn't date anyone under 25, not a concrete rule or anything though. I think I'd just feel really weird and old as smurf celebrating my 30th birthday with someone who was only 23-24, LOL. Take it slow, hang out, whatever. I don't think you'd look foolish.

I would never date someone in college again now that Im out of college. I want someone with their smurf already together, a career etc... So I guess 23 is the lowest I would go? And I think 30 is about the highest. I am 23.

Um... 23 isn't too bad, and if you click, then give it a shot, hang out, see what happens.

For me, it depends on the dude---but generally speaking...probably nobody under 32 and for sure not under 30 (I'll be 34 Sunday).

My rule is 2 years younger or 5 years older, BUT I'm married now - the last time I had a new boyfriend I was 20. I'm sure I wouldn't mind breaking my rule now if I were to ever date again.

The friend that introduced us is a good friend. This guy said he looks at him like an older brother and best friend. My friend would NOT let that guy get away with hurting me. I didnt think he was that young until we added each other on facebook.

Im very shocked by it, because physically hes not what I usually go for. But he was sweet to me and it made me think for the first time... I deserve better than what my ex gave me. So I dunno... just thinking about it. I always dated older and it never worked... maybe younger? lol

I personally wouldn't date anyone younger then me. Probably not even someone the same age.

I don't see a problem with the age difference, but i wouldn't date anyone younger than me. I just turned 22 and i don't usually go for anyone younger than 30.. My sons father would have been 38 this last summer..

College isnt a huge deal to me because not everyone does the traditional college route. I graduated with my BA at 28, my ex just graduated with his associates and hes 34. So eh, as long as hes driven and not a deadbeat college isnt too important to me. High school graduate is a must though.
