Labor that hasnt progressed :(

Starting having contractions around 10 pm last night starting out right at 3 minutes apart and I waited about an hr before calling my oncall midwife! went up to be checked and they were deffinitly 3 minutes apart with super back labor I was 2cm which was 1cm more than yesturday morning and after 2 hrs of contractions nothing chnged and they sent me home! 16 hrs later i couldnt deal with the pain in my back but the contractions werent any stronger. I again called the midwife and they told me to go back and get checked again.... still only 2cm and not progressing!   came home and the contrctions had become irregular so i took a bath which felt amazing and then a nap. Now my contractions are irregular and im trying to convince myself that its ok and he will be here soon but very dissapointing and frusterating

I was in early labor for 4 weeks, 5-7 minute apart contractions. I know how you feel! It will happen.

My friend was due on the 22nd she is 4cm 90% effaced and the babies head is a -1.. She is having contractions irregular tho and they still won't keep her in he hospital... It will happen jus hang in there

I have previous back problems so i will not let it happen all that much longer without throwing a fit lol

i am 33 weeks & in labor with contractions 2 minutes apart. i started labor tuesday night at about 7:30pm. at about 9pm i lost my mucus plug then went to L&D at 11pm after confirming with my OB that i am in true labor. they confirmed my contractions are 2 minutes apart but my water hadn't broke & i was not dilated so they sent me home (around 2am). wednesday at noon i saw another doctor in my Ob's practice & he checked me- i was still not dilated. the baby is not in distress so they decided it's best for me to tough out the labor at home. my contractions are STILL 2 minutes apart and i am in SERIOUS pain & the only advice the OB gave me was to "drink plenty of water & rest" (easier said then done). i surely hope i am not in labor for weeks on end. i suggest trying maternity acupressure. i've heard it works wonders. i am actually reading up on it and going to try it myself.

my contractions ended up stopping around 10 pm the following night (24 hrs later) but their is no wat i would have gone another 12-24 hrs!! I am ready to meet him though!!!
