Valentines day and bday from hospital

I'm stuck in the hospital on bed rest until this baby comes out (hoping to make it to March)
DHs bday is 4 days after Valentine's Day.
What can I do/ get for him from here???
I was thinking for Valentines Day to still dress up nice do my hair and make up and have him pick up dinner, but I want to get him some flowers or something. Would it be weird for me to have flowers delivered to myself so I can have them here to give to him? Lol
He's a welding instructor and I know he would never ever want flowers sent to his school. He would never hear the end of it.
I also have NO idea what to do for his birthday. No idea what to get him. No idea HOW to get it for him. I have no income being here, and we don't keep money in the bank. I guess I could ask him to go put some in so I can order him something but he's going to ask me why I need it because I'm always giving him smurf about how we have no money etc etc.

Any ideas?

Does the hospital you're in have a gift shop?

Maybe ask a family member to help you out. Tell him you want money to order food or something for when he isn't around?

My SOs bday is the same day, and our anniversary is the 15th....its an EXPENSIVE week for me.
This year we are going to start doing the same thing we started doing for xmas a few years ago and put $500 each extra on our mortgage. After so long together gifts are just wasting money as neither of us need anything.

I would NEVER buy him flowers. Flowers are for girls. Once I did get him a big huge martini looking glass thing and filled it with chocolates.

If you guys are tight on cash and have a new baby coming, Id just get him a card and something 'Dad' like.....like a bib (for the baby) that says 'I love Daddy' or something

They're really cheap on Groupon right now, but I don't want to get him something bad quality and I hate how cheap they are and not being able to see them in person stuff. I know Groupon has great deals but I've never bought anything besides gift certificates and a face mask so idk if it's just an amazing deal or a scam.

I will ask my aunt about the prices(she's a maternity nurse here so I have her 3-4 days/ week) but I was under the impression that hospitals jack up prices in the gift shop so it might be cheaper to get them from somewhere else. I always have people asking if I need anything etc so it would probably be easy to find someone to pick some up for me I guess if I found the florist and called ahead.

Get him an edible arrangement To go to work (not all are girly).

Then order dinner delivered (or have a friend pick up and deliver) with a bottle of faux champagne and chocolate covered strawberries for dessert.
