Wtf am I doing wrong?

posted 24th Jan
Every time I make burgers my apartment fills with smoke. What can I do to make it less smokey? I made myself two burgers but it looks like DH is getting a mini meatloaf because of all the smoke.

Do you have a hood vent or fan? If not use leaner hamburger and open a window.

Could just be the stove, or maybe too much oil or the pan you are using. We do burgers in the oven.

I.use an.oscillating fan, a fan over the stove and use ground turkey which has very little fat. No oil in the pan and I've tried three different ones.

It could also be the pan or the temp you have it on., how much grease you're keeping in the pan.

That always happens when I make burgers too. So, the other day I made them in the oven and they actually tasted a lot better that way.

Put tin foil down on rack and burgers on that. You can bake or broil, personally I love to broil for a grilled like taste. I broil at 350* F for about eight minutes on each side.

edit: Length of time needed on each side may depend on your oven, and burger thickness.

Man I just cook burger patties in the oven. Just bake him. Or put the grill on. Whatevs. Leave them to cook.

I'm a really lazy cook though. Turn the oven on, put it in there til it's cooked.
