really frustrated with bf

I don't want to breastfeed anymore. It hurts so bad, i can't get him to latch on properly for the life of me. Ive seen a lactation consultant i go to a support group. Ive watched a million videos I've researched like crazy and nothing is fixing his latch. I'm in constant pain, my breasts just ache! I'm at a loss i just don't know how to fix this, i cry everyday becausei want to ebf so badly but its just going horribly   sorry i had to vent

He can sense your frustration. It takes time. At first it is difficult. No joke. Especially if you are going from bottle to breast and back and forth. Be patient. Don't beat yourself up.

Giiirl I went thru 3 weeks if pure HELL before it became pain free and LO began nursing like a champ. For the longest time, I thought we were having latching problems, too. Turns out my boobies weren't healing yet because she was on them all the time. I think if you give it more time, it will get better and you'll b so proud! I almost have up several times and so glad I didn't  

Have the lactation consultant or a doctor checked to see if he might be "tongue tied" or whatever? I don't have experience with it but a mommy friend did with her son & it was an easy fix...just a little snip under the tongue by the doctor, baby didn't even cry & was able to latch perfectly immediately afterward to help it heal.

thank you everybody for being so encouraging. It is extremely hard. I don't want to give up. I am going to see if he is tongue tied. I just can't figure out why i can't get him to latch deep enough its like he is only latching on half way and pinching my.nipple

You probably have what I called a suckerfish baby. They are like a pleco when they latch on. The do it quickly and don't have the time to open their mouths all the way before they connect with the breast. With them you have to run your nipple from their nose to their chin to get them to open wide enough to latch properly. I also found nursing laying in bed was easier than nursing sitting up. Don't give up, you can do it hun! I know it's hard in the beginning, trust me. We battled thrush forever and latch issues for some time. It was the hardest 5 weeks of my life..But things have gotten better and Noah is nursing so well now. It's quite rewarding seeing him gaze up at me while suckling on my breast..to know that i can provide him with everything he needs. It's priceless.
