spotting

I had a dr appt today and she did an internal exam. When I got home I went to the bathroom and noticed I was spotting. I called the doc and she said it was normal. This is my first baby so even with the doc saying it's ok, I am still a bit worried. Anyone else have this happen?

yup. I had a pap test done early on in my pregnancy and I had a bit of spotting when I got home. It was done by the next day and I came on here and asked the same question as you did. It's normal to have a bit of spotting

It happened to me with my 1st, the DR told me to put on a pad and keep track on how much spotting I have in an hr, and that it should stop but if it didnt stop in a hr to call back.
I was told that it was normal though.

Its completely normal to have a little spotting after an exam. Had that with both of my kids
