question is, how do i tell fat from loose skin? i read that if its just loose skin there is not anything you can do about it, that would suck.

It's going to take a couple of months before you can figure that out. Right now you have way too much fluid left over from pregnancy and your organs are trying to move back into position. Not to mention your stomach muscles are still stretched out right now.

You're only 10 days pp. You need to give your body a chance to heal and then worry about what is what.

Even loose skin tones up over time.. I'm pretty sure as I've seen it.

To be honest, the body needs several weeks to get into gear after giving birth, if I were you I'd give it at least a month and with doctor's consent, start working out slowly and getting back into shape.. that's basically the only thing you can do, other than possibly seeing a professional that would measure your body fat percentage.. but why.. giving birth is pretty stressful on the body, I'm sure you'll see improvement naturally in a few weeks

It takes a while for the belly to go away. The skin will shrink back for the most part depending on your genetics. Some women are unlucky and have a lot of extra skin, others are lucky and have very little or none.

I am 6 months PP right now and still have a gut from pregnancy but it is mostly fat and not just extra skin. I still have 15 lbs to lost to be pre pregnancy weight from my first pregnancy since I was 8 month PP when I got pregnant again.

Just remember that if you injure yourself by getting back to being very active before your body is ready, that will actually put off getting back into shape, further away into the future.. so it's better to take your time and start again slowly

Thanks, idk why im like that... Ive had zero appitite though, i think its from the hormone fluctuation. So ive naturally lost 25 lbs in 9 days, pretty sure it was all water weight.
