Breast Pumps?

posted 24th Jan
Hi there, I just kind of want to know what breast pumps are the best priced and if I really need all the add ons that they have advertised?
I think it would be handy to have because I'm more of a private person and don't really feel comfortable with just whipping out my boobies right in public. Things could go wrong in those kind of situations very fast.
I was looking at the Lansinoh Affinity double electric one and I'm wondering if that is a good one?

Check with your insurance company. They very well may cover a really good Medela double electric for you.

I have a Medella Single Manual Pump for on the go. Quite and easy to use. But some people don't like manual pumps. It's all your preference really.

I really don't know the difference I just want to be ontop of things before my little girl arrives. So is it the same do you think to use a manual one rather than an electric?

I had an electric with my first and didn't really like it. I didn't think it felt "natural" but my sister-in-law swears by her electric...mostly because it was faster. Personally I like the manual and if your insurance doesn't cover it, they are less costly and have less parts to clean.

It just depends on your preference. Some people like the simplicity of an electric while others like the control they have with a manual.
