A happy reminder.

Feels good to finally have this painting hanging in our home. It's a happy reminder of both my wedding day and the wonderful friendship Allison (the artist) and I have. So blessed to have such good (and talented) people in my life.

Oh, I know. We got married in an art gallery and my best friend/MoH painted us this piece to hang where the "altar" was. How our home is set up, the hallway that leads to the bedrooms is really long and it opens up to the living room, which connects to the dining room in a sort of open-layout, so every morning when I leave the bedroom (at the end of the hall), I see the painting directly in front of me. Walking down the hallway now is like walking down the aisle all over again.
