Just kidding! Grats! We're on 1 year as of Jan. 18th.   I love breastfeeding.

Nice! 17th baby too? Feb 17th will mark 8 months of EBF for us.

I almost quit around the 2nd month, it was hard and I was still always engorged. Boo.  

Now she's starting to want to nurse basically all night.

Started? That's been his MO since birth.  

I just love when baby is staring up gazing into your eyes while they are eating, it makes breastfeeding that much more amazing. Good job momma! I tried to breastfeed with all my babies, but I didn't get very far, Ihad no support, or help and my damn boobs wouldn't cooperate lol

Really?!?! I guess I'm lucky then... The past 3 nights DD wont sleep unless she is latched on. She isn't even nursing or sucking at all. She just keeps her mouth on my boob. DH thinks it's because she's figured out that if she is on the boob she gets to be in bed with us.

Thank you! It didn't work out with my first so I'm constantly shocked as each month passes that we're still nursing.

That's what it is, DS knows that if he's lying in bed with me on the boob, he's all set.  

It also didn't work with my first. I slept a lot better then....but trading sleep for the attachment is a fair trade for me.

Nursing can be a hard long journey but its so so worthy it, what a precious lil boobie baby you have!
We EBF for a lil over 2yrs.
