I have a lightly used Ameda Purely Yours Dual Electric Breast Pump up for sale if anyone is interested.

My digi is broken right now so I cant take photos but I assure you it is in great condition, I only used it for about 2 weeks.

since you were SO friendly in the other thread   i figured i'd share this information here too...copied and pasted...

it's not about the parts, milk spores get into the motor (of a non-hospital grade pump) and can be toxic to a baby who wasn't born of that mother.

also, this...i supposed it's not illegal everywhere as the only like i could find as to the legality of it referred to PA, but it is not recommended by the FDA to obtain a used pump that cant' be properly sterilized (in the pumping mechanism...NOT just new tubes and shields, etc...).

save the eyerolling for someone who needs it, i know what i'm talking about...i mispoke about the legality of it, so i retract that. i still think it's unethical and gross, frankly...unless you have a hospital grade pump.

Thanks for the information. The legality thing is what really got me.

The ameda pumps have a hygienikit system that is meant to keep fluids from asperating into the tubing and the pump itself.

i dont think the medela pump that i have has that problem. it just goes through the tubes. never gets near the motor... a lot of pumps are that way too.

anyone????
