Baby swings and play gyms?

posted 24th Jan
These are the only two baby toys I'm really going all out on for before she's hear. The play gym for tummy time. And the swing... Well obviously

Here's the play gym and swing we decided on.

I always like hearing what other moms decided on though and adding that to my choices. I like first hand experience on these things.

Love the swing! What about a bouncer? I hear babies love them. Stay away from Walkers, I hear they are unsafe.

I've had 3 playmats over the years and with the first two I felt they were a huge waste of money. They were cool until the kid sat up but after that useless. With my third we found one that turned into a tunnel after you we're finished using it as a mat. My son adores it. Still using it daily at 11 mths old.

I think its that one, or we were looking at one, that kind of converted where it locked in place and vibrated? (the ones where you place your LO like it were a swing but it just kind of bounced a little and vibrated SO's first hated it so we decided we'd get a swing that did that too) If you mean one where they sit up on their own and they use their feet to jump around we were given one of those.   Actually set our theme for play toys they don't all match in color but they're all jungle themed!

That play gym was more SO's idea he really found it came in handy with his first. But I may look into a convertible one like the one you're talking about in that case  !

They are great I just feel like for the time frame it's a waste of money. I'll see if I can find the name of ours. It was inexpensive too.

We went with the daisy collection for our LO....

I'm now working on a swing....

It worked out well too without noticing because her bedding is green and pink   The playpen works as a bassinet too so that will be great for the first few months...

We went with Graco for her stroller and her car seat, and that set also had a matching pack and play that worked as shelves a changing table, bassinet and crib <3 it's the love of my life I swear.

But I love the lion king baby swing. I love that it has music and nature sounds, and I trust anything with Disney involved. They don't need those kinds of lawsuits

OH I LIKE THAT! I love the water theme too! I wanted to do Fishy's and ocean theme but and I find it humorous and strange don't worry. My SO has Hydrophobia and I felt like it would eff with him, since we're all using the same bed room until we can move our stuff back into our room
