My babies crib just fell apart...lol ok its not so funny. At least she was not in it.

i have no idea why, and it was tight too, I just moved her mattress down a few weeks ago, and it was tightened real good. I have no idea what I ma going to do, for her to sleep in, its nap time in 30 min. lol

And she does not sleep anyplace but her crib......she likes it in there. where its pitch black dark.

I cant use her toddler bed she dont walk yet. Ummmm what to do. lol

My mom put my crib mattress on the floor when I was 9 months old because I shook the crib so hard it broke lol.

Pack n play? Mattress on the floor? Hold her for this nap ?

DS's crib side came off when he was leaning on it. He was already over a year old and we couldn't afford a new one, so DH took his drill and some screws and made new holes and drilled the side back on. Once we switched him to a toddler bed, we literally had to break the side off so we ended up throwing it away. But it worked good for another year after that. Is yours just completely in pieces, or just a few parts fell off and it's mostly still up?

She wont sleep in a play pen at all.

I cant hold her for 4 hrs, thats just ridic to me, and no way would she ver let me hold her to sleep...she pushes you away even if yopu attempt to hold her in a laying down position, lol she does not liked to be held or touched in a closeness way. She will claw my face off if I even try.

I may be able to get her to sleep in her stroller, but I have to let it defrost first then dry. My garage door is stuck (frozen closed) so her stroller been out in the freezing rain for a few weeks. lol

Welp, guess your screwed then. I can't imagine a freezing cold wet stroller drying in 30 mins.

The base where the mattress goes ripped right off the foot boards, and the track for the rails, came off.
The plastic pieces that hold it on cracked. It happened when my cat jumped in the crib for his daily nap.

Wow. Sounds like it's caput! Sorry. <  I would say a play pen, but I see you mentioned she won't sleep in one. IF you are okay with CIO, she will eventually fall sleep, just try and pad the bottom with soft blankets? If not then idk what to tell you except like the other girl said about putting the mattress on the floor or go buy a new one if you're able to.

Well I wont fork out a couple of hundred for a new one, when she is basically one. lol A mattress on the floor wont help she cant walk or crawl yet, she will just fall off. lol
She will fall asleep within min of her usual nap time, if I leave her in her saucer, but I know I just cant let her sleep 4 hrs in her saucer, standing up. lol

Sounds like the screws were over tightened.

If you aren't going to replace the crib she needs a long term sleepung solution, I'd have her get use to the playpen now. She may not like it but shell'll adjust. She clearly needs something since she isn't even crawling.

You can get a decent one at Walmart for $100 that will convert to a toddler bed! That's what I'm ordering for my 4 month old in a week, she's just been in her bassinet thus far. And the reviews I've read for the one I've picked out are very good, especially considering the price. The one I'm looking at is the Graco Stanton, with your choice of finish.

I meant for tonight, with the stroller. I dont care if she does not nap today, she still wont be cranky at all. She is totally laid back. But I know if she falls asleep in her saucer, I can just move her...kwim? She is a creature of habbit. 5 min past 12 she will pass out no problem. But putting her in the playpen where she plays she wont sleep, its her toy bin. lol

I don't understand why the mattress on the floor would be a problem if she can't crawl or walk? When my mom had to do that I was already crawling so she would constantly have to check to make sure I was still sleeping and not crawling around the house lol.

My walmart dont carry those at all. You have to order cribs here, not in stores (they are remodeling it atm) 100 for a new one is not worth it. I already have 2 toddler beds to use when she is ready. lol

My oldest I glued hers with carpenters glue, she kicked out all the bars at 10 months old. lol
