If your kid(s) are in school

Are you happy for the break or do you get bored?
I have off work on Tuesdays and Thursdays but LO is in pre school full time.
I'm excited to go pick him up in a few hours.

I miss him and I don't do well by myself with nothing going on.

i still have Kyle here with me but the other 2 are in school. it gives me time to clean and i teach kyle some basics too. somedays, i cant wait to get them from the bus stop. lol

I am happy when my kids are in school. lol They dont have a break coming up, not till March. Its nice when they are home, cause we do stuff, but they prefer being at school with there friends. And honestly......I dont miss my kids when I am not with them. lol

i'm glad when my son is in school. i'm even happier when i work evenings and only get to see him for a few minutes after school. we argue all the time when we're with each other, so not spending a lot of time with him if perfect for us.

Really? That's a shame. How old is he?

My oldest just started kindergarten this year. It's been hard for me. He has loved everyday and I am so happy he enjoys school. But I have been a stay at home mom for 4 years now. I honestly miss my son when he is at school. His younger brothers miss him too. They cannot wait for him to get home every afternoon. I feel blessed I get to go to every class party even the silly ones.

He had last week off due to bad weather and is out again tomorrow due to snow/ice. I get more excited than him for cancelled school days. My husband also loves it when school is cancelled. Husband works 2nd shift so he only sees oldest son on the weekend. At least tomorrow he can spend half the day with him.

He'll be 7 in May. He's finally getting to spend time with his dad and our time together isn't as stressful.

My dd did go to school for a while. I worked from home as I do now and I missed her greatly. I happily put that aside because school initially made her happy. Once it didn't, my unhappiness at her spending so much time away from home, and her growing unhappijess where she was, pushed me to pull her. We've both been much happier since.

I've got 3, all in school all day.. Emerson is in kindergarten, Sydnee is in 2nd grade and Donovan is in 4th grade. And I have to say that I love the fact that my kids are gone for 6 hours during the day. Especially since now with them all reaching those overly hormonal ages, when they're together too long with nothing to do, they try their best to kill each other. School gives them a break from each other and it gives me a break from them. We're together all the time if there isn't any school or on weekends because they usually come to work with me, too.. so school is my outlet and I LOVE IT!!!
