How long did you bleed?

I got a BFP last wed and started bleeding sun. Doc said I am miscarrying/chemical pregnancy but they would wait to do blood work til the middle of next week or until I stopped bleeding. I was wondering how long any of you bled. I had period like bleeding for three days and now I am just spotting a little brown. I am just surprised at how fast it went. I assumed it would be longer and heavier than a normal period. I have no hope that I am still pregnant because all my symptoms are gone. Just curious about others experiences.

are you periods normally 3 days long like that? its very possible to have red bleeding in early pregnancy, due to implantation and what not. a friend of mine bleed red blood for a week and ended up still pregnant.

I would take another test, if its still very obviously positive I would call and ask for a blood test to see whats going on, if its negative then I would assume it was a chemical.

I typically have a 2-3 days of heavier bleeding then spot for a few. I bled with my second for two weeks but this is nothing like that. It is much heavier although I never filled a pad like I expected to. Doc told me test again next week and if it is still positive (which she thinks it will be) then they will do blood work. She said i should still assume I pregnant until we know for sure but I know I a not.

My chemical was very strange. I never actually bled a lot all I got was a lot of spotting and a few times when I went to the bathroom tissue came out but other than that I never did bleed heavily.
