Weird symtoms in 4 yr old

I will start by saying we are going to the pedi at 4 today, so please dont say "call the dr."

My son is four. He had norovirus in november and was sick for weeks. Hes complaining of fatigue all the time, he has brown circles under his eyes. He was complaining that his mouth hurt like a week ago, and had a sore (not a canker) on his gums. It is still there. Last night when brushing his teeth i saw that his tondils are huge, but do not have white spots. He also has raised red bumps about the size of a pencil eraser all over the back of his tongue. He had no fever. He isnt into eating very much either.

Any thoughts?

No rash or fever though

Strep throat maybe? Tonsillitis?
