PP period *TMI*

So I just got what I am guessing is my first period since birth. Well me and SO had lots of unprotected sex after my LO was 3 weeks old and on, yes he did cum inside me lots of times. Well I never in life had a period so bad. My stomach and back from my belly button down hurt sooo bad it had me hunched over slowly walking around my house. It was so bad last night I felt nautious and I was in so much pain. It started off with bad cramps in my lower back and then I got the cramps in my abdomen and all around under my belly button. I also was passing some tissue, looked like pink brains. The blood is very bright red. Is this a period or could it be a miscarriage? I just never in my life had a period hurt so bad before. Did your first post partum period hurt bad? or was it like a normal period. I just want to make sure this is a normal period and not possibly a miscarriage. I do have endometriosis which can make you have a high chance of having miscarriages. So I am just wanting to make sure this is just a menstrual cycle. Thanks.

How old is your LO?

That's why its best to wait the full 6 wks, some don't heal completely and could be why you were in pain. Are you TTC?

My 1st period after having baby was kinda heavy, but not painful.

LO is 9 weeks old. Yes I know were dum we had a little to much wine and engaged in sex when she was 3 weeks old he did the deed inside. Then I freaked thinking I would wind up pregnant and then we figured hey if we are its okay we wouldn't mind. So we continued to just do it and if pregnancy happens then it happens. But I just am worried if this is a period or not. I also had a C-Section so I don't know if that could make any difference. I am just wondering how others first periods were. It started off light the first day now its very heavy but I am cramping very bad. Never had so much cramps ever.

And no were not TTC but we really haven't tried to prevent it. He is all for another child whenever I want and after that night I though I do want to start cooking another real soon. We want our kiddos to be real close in age. But now that I am not pregnant I decided to give it a bit of time.

I have never had a miscarriage so I am not sure. I guess maybe get checked or talk to you docotor.

my periods before dexter never hurt and were very light and only last 3 or 4 days.
i got my first pp period at 7weeks pp and it lasted 7 weeks due to a smurf up with birth control. It was very very heavy all the way through with lots of pea sized clots. but i only had pain for the first week or so, then it was just blood. it was awfull! it only stopped last week.

Oh no, always better to be safe than sorry. Plus, it being your 1st birth and you not knowing what to expect, its perfectly normal ( and smart ) to ask and find out.
I don't think it was a m/c, but then again when it comes to m/c I have no clue.

Shoot I have had 3 kids AND still am a worry-wart time to time, lol

I'm in the same boat except minus the pain. I had a little too many drinks and ended up freaking giving into dh and having sex. I have a small tear that I had to get two or three stitches for. I think they were healed all the way I mean sex didn't hurt that area. But now I'm very heacy on my period today is the 5th day, passing a lot of clots and I can. Sit on the tpilet and have blood just gush out enough to turn the water red. I know sorry tmi.

Yeah same thing going on here. Worst period I have had yet.
