Playing hooky?

Sometimes I really want to pull DS out of school for the day haha.


In my head we'd go to DQ for ice cream and see my brother that works there and take him to a inflatable toy place haha

i would so do that on occasion...but it seems since my DD started school she gets sick rather often, well at least for longer periods of time anyway. she started in the end of august, and has already had like 8 sick days.

I wish my mom would have at least once, she was a stickler about that lol.
If I called off school, I had to stay in all day up until my 18th birthday hahaha.

I know what you mean. DS has missed two full weeks and a few days from being sick.

Hell yes do it! When we lived in NYC my grandma would do it frequently and she would take me to Coney Island or the aquarium or we would just spend the day walking around different parts of the city we rarely visited. Those days I remember clearly and make me so happy to think about.

When the weather gets a bit nicer I plan on doing it with him on a Tuesday or Thursday. Those are my days off

I want to take him somewhere he can see animals. Like a petting zoo or farm. Or just on a two Hour drive to the beach. He'd be over the moon.

I wasn't allowed out no matter what, haha. Sucked.

damn. it sucked for my brother. he was that kid that was ALWAYS muddy and had critters in every pocket he had.

true story.. he was bitten by a poison snake and it was wrapped around his wrist still clamped to his hand and was begging My dad to keep the snake haha. we had to ask twice before he'd answer about if a snake had bitten him.
