Belly shrinking during pregnancy?

I've been having contraction issues and seeing my doctor about once a week or more. I was measuring right where I was suppose to be a couple of appts back. Last Wednesday I measured smaller. I have an ultrasound for the 18th to see if she's growing the way she is suppose to.

I drink water all the time, and my doctors say there is no chance any of my contractions are dehydration related. I get up about 2 times a night to pee and I sleep about 10-12 hours. I'm 26 weeks and 6 days. I use to go more frequently... and I drink A LOT. So that's weird.

But last night I was having horrible cramps and pain and not feeling well at all. I had a lot of pressure and thought my belly was looking smaller. I had diarrhea which I always have with contractions and laid down and went to sleep. She's still moving around in there same as usual, but when I got up today my stomach was even smaller than yesterday. Even my mom noticied it. I feel full and sick to my stomach when I stand up. Something seems odd to me, but I'm not sure what it is.

Anyone have this during pregnancy?

Very odd that u posted this, bc I was just telling my mom today that i think my belly is shrinking! Gotta keep an eye on this one.

Low amniotic fluid...baby settled more into your back...baby dropped a wee bit...having a light eating day? I am just brain storming. I would keep an eye on movement and if anything changes at all- L&D right away! I think by now they almost know you by name huh, Lory? Try to kick back and relax if you can too. I won't tell you drink more water cuz we don't want you to get water poisoning again.   ((hugs)) I'll be thinking of you. If you don't update the other Sept moms- text me ok??

I haven't been feeling quite right, so I will probably call and talk to them. But my stomach stayed small and I ate a lot. And since I was measuring fine and started falling behind, it kinda worries me. =/ She's been low and still in the same spot. I went from big to barely pregnant. Doesn't sound or look right.

Well my mom came in and told me to call. If I have to go in, I will text you while I'm there.

I just noticed you are due in August, youre baby is probaby dropping and getting ready to come out. Hehe

2 months is still a little early to drop....but, it's normal for a stomach to look smaller depending on the babies position. it's not all that weird to wake up les to pee either...i drank tons yesterday and i only got up twice to pee when i usually get up about 5 times. your not always going to measure right on time.

true, but I shouldn't measure on time one Wednesday come back a week later and drop 2 and a half weeks either. Thats why they ordered the ultrasound, they think she isnt growing right.

I wouldn't be so worried if I wasn't high risk.

that happened to me too, It might be the bloating going away, bloating can make you look like your bigger than you are. Usually you have bloating until like 2 to 3 months and you think it's your baby bump but it's not lol. After it goes away you start to see your baby bump and it looks smaller but my doc said it's normal. Sorry if thst sounded jumbled, it's early lol

This might sound gross, but everytime after I poop a good load, my tummy goes down in size noticeably. Also my tummy is smaller every morning when I wake up after peeing 20 times through the night and digesting the food I've eaten from the night before. Hopefully all is well with you & baby, and your u/s will put you in the clear.
