I'd try (slowly) increasing the weight you're doing on your legs.

Higher reps at a lower weight will tone, larger weight will put on some muscle bulk. Do you like pilates or anything of that nature? That could be really good alternating with some bulking up so that they stay lean and flexible.

I'm kind of embarrassed to say..but I looked up Dalis Connell's workout. She lays 4 weeks out each day, each week everything is broken down. I started it right before I got pregnant and LOVED it...It changes it up, yet gives you a chance to get used to it. It's timed so you know exactly how much time to set aside or your workout each day. You have days off, and still lose weight. I just googled her.

I've never done pilates so I wouldn't know if I liked it. Lol

But they don't offer classes or anything there. They barely have people walking around helping.

That sounds like a good idea. But I don't want to lose weight.

Thank you!

I just looked at it and it is kind of for home. They don't show any machines or weights on the exercises. But I could still definitely use them for my days off the gym!

Oh - Well she is tone as haaaiiil too. I don't go to the gym I just use the college track down the street and the stairs they have and whatever I can find. But she has another one specifically for gym equipment.

I think there are some really good pilates videos you could get to do at home on your days when you don't go to the gym.   Pilates is AMAZING for core strength.

I'll look it up. Certain workouts might benefit me. I'm just trying to get more of a routine down rather than just walking around from machine to machine looking like an idiot. Lol

That's what I need - core strength. My girlfriend tried getting me to do Insanity with her but that shiz looks so hard. I have a hard time picking up my 30 lb. kid!

People look at me like I'm so skinny and fit - but in all reality I can't even run to the end of my driveway without dying.

Lol - yeah thats part of the reason I don't go to the gym...I feel so ridiculous because I don't know how to use half of the stuff there. And I'm pretty sure I would die of embarrassment if some hottie mcHott hott came up and tried to show me how to use a machine...I'd act deaf, no lie.

Try some pilates!

And I completely understand what you mean. I need to get myself more active because I'm just like a skeleton with noodle muscles. haha

The gym I go to is really awesome, besides the staff. I mean there's people in there ranging from 12-80 years old. Unless you're a body builder, nobody looks like they know what they're doing.

But I feel like I'm not getting anywhere just doing random workouts.
