Cake pop shelf-life question

I have made lots of cake pops and they have been fine after a few days stored in the frig.
Due to travel and time restrictions, I can only make cake pops on a Monday night for a Sunday party. They will be fully decorated and stored in the refrigerator. Do you think they will last that long?

Hmm. Do they keep better than a cake?

I would think they might get a little dried out... but other than that they'd probably be fine.

If there is egg in the recipe I wouldn't trust them personally.

You don't think they'd "sweat?"
I've never frozen them and I'll be leaving them for my mom to deal with on Super Bowl Sunday. The pressure is on for the little footballs!

I wouldn't think so. But The ones I did I make my own glaze frosting and they did great.

Now all I want is some cake pops.

Hmmm. an idea just popped into my head! I am making pops today for a friend's party so i can try freezing one and see how it does.

I don't think they'd last that long, but I could be wrong. I wonder how fresh Starbucks cake pops are, KWIM?
Perhaps freeze the cake balls and then when you're ready dip them in candy melts the day before you leave if that is an option.

Not an option as I'm making them during my visit with my mom in Florida. She wants me to do 100% of it before i dare to leave.
I'll see how my experiement goes today.
