Callahan was our original choice when we first found out we were having a boy and James is a family MN.

Then it went on to Maxwell (family surname way back in the day on my side) and Avrum is DH's MN.

DH loves Jackson even though it's pretty popular right now and Cooper is DH's FN.

My family hates Callahan because of how "uncommon" and "weird" it sounds. DH's family loves uncommon and unpopular names so they like Callahan. Of course my family loves Maxwell considering it's a family name way back when... DH's family likes it, no problems with Maxwell. My family loves Jackson (I guess because they like common names, lol) and DH's family is indifferent with it.

Last name is Clopton. Which sounds best and will age well? I don't want name suggestions or mix matching FN and MN. What's in the poll are our choices. Please vote or leave a comment on what you think! Thank you!

Also, DD's NN is Addy. So whatever sounds best with her name as well.  

I voted for Jackson but with your last name I think Maxwell sounds best but I reeeeeeally don't like the middle name so that's why I voted for Jackson.

I'm not too fond of the middle name either but that's what DH and I agreed on. DH won't let me change it because he LOVES his MN. Oooooookay...

I LOVE Callahan. It sounds like such a strong name....but it's also Chris Farley's last name in Tommy Boy... by the time he's old enough people probably won't remember the movie.

i don't care for Avrum...but it is SO's MN, so i like that it has meaning. i voted Maxwell Avrum. if you're not set on Avrum you could always do Abram.

DH is extremely set on Avrum with Maxwell. There is no changing it to avoid an on going argument. Lol

Exactly. Do you like Campbell? I've seen it spelled all kinds of ways,but I've always kind of liked it myself. (I dig it more for a girl though)

I like Maxwell. It flows the best and has great nickname potential.

I agree. It's my favorite personally just because I know he'll be the only Callahan in class. My name is Jessica. There were always at least 3 Jessica's in my class growing up.
