Personally, I don't let my daughter see her biological father. He is not a good person and had been nasty towards me in the past. I understand you need a break, but I think you should leave the little one with someone who has NOT hurt you or is threatening. Go get full custody. I don't think it would be wise to let your LO be with him if it is not supervised by you.

Please don't let that man see your child.

I'd say no, if he's been violent towards you and claims you'd be better off dead and him wanting to get full custody of your child whose to say he will decide not to return him to you after this weekend visit and just try to go for custody claiming you ditched him off or something to go party?

I clicked the wrong one (fat fingers on mobile). I wouldnt let LO spend the night but if you trust his parents enough, let them have a few hours. Then go to the court house and file custody papers requesting supervised visitation.

Unless it becomes court ordered, even then I would ask for supervised and show them evidence of all the smurf he does/has done.

and if there is no agreement in place, who is to say they won't just keep your child?

But I know he wouldn't. He literally has no way of being able to do that. He has no car, no money, nothing for LO, no friends or family other than his parents who have nothing.
