is it wrong

I told my kids father that he wasnt able to take them this morning. My 4 month old is on antibiotics for an ear infection and hes on breathing treatments and my almost 2 year old has been coughing and has a runny nose. So i dont want them going anywhere because there sick. Is that wrong of me to want them just to stay home? plus they just let my toddler go out in just his pjs with no socks or shoes on in cold weather and me and their dad are arguing like crazy cause he has not helped me out financially in months. he has not seen them in weeks also but of course when there sick he wants to take the for the weekend. am i wrong for not wanting him to take them.

No, you aren't wrong at all. I would keep my kids home too if they were sick. If I were you I wouldn't let your ex take the kids if he doesn't dress them properly in cold weather.

Umm no. You are absolutely right. That poor baby needs his momma when he's sick, not be drug out in the cold and taken care of by somebody he doesn't know well ( from what you said about not seeing them in weeks )

I agree. If he doesn't take proper care of the toddler, I can't imagine how he cares for a four month old. That would make me consider not sending them with him, ever. Do y'all have a custody agreement?

no we dont have a custody agreement at all. im starting to go through the whole child support process now but we orginally had an agreement where he would buy the diapers and wipes plus give me 50 a week but he hasnt done anything in months for them and wants to be a dad when its convient for him.

my 4 month old has come back without socks on and just a onsie when he was only 2 months old i was freaking livid and my ex got screamed at for that. im so afraid to let my kids over there at all cause i feel like there not getting completely taken care off. my kids need me right now more than ever
