when i listed it i stopped at 50 items... and there were still a few more. but that included stocking, and like every individual gift, besides candy...

I'm plugging in my laptop. We had about the same for a family of 5. If you add in all the additional gifts, maybe 70? And we don't buy 'cheap' gifts. Anything we buy is high quality, made to last.

Those legos took my husband 18 hours total between the two of us to assemble.

I am getting them more legos and board games. But this year we are going to go on a family vacation instead of buy a bunch of toys. It is too hard to find things they don't already have.
They have bikes, several ride on toys, shovels, a toss game with a board back outside. Balls to sit and jump. And like I said, this is after donating several bags and boxes to the goodwill. WAY overboard.

i plan to do this to her room though--- then ill worry about keeping it clean (she has a huge roller tote full of her books that need shelves and what not. blah) and we have that toy bin thing too.. but i forgot the holder back at my dads house. go figure.. i have all the bins though lol

We also have a large caterpillar toy we put in there to lean against. I'll have to find the name. It makes it much more comfortable I think. The kids enjoy having it in there.

i just dont even know if i should continue her room...
he might deploy soon and if so ill go back home, put everything and storage and put the house up for sale... because when he gets back we will have 6 months left in alaska then we will PCS. so im torn. theres a possibility that he wont go but theres talk that he will so i have no idea if i should just wait til we get another house.

Sounds like a lot to think about, I know those shelves are kind of expensive. I have been looking at land of nod. But we are staying here for a long time. Her room is so cute already, it might be fun to see your plans come to life

our bills are like 4300 a month and we bring in 4600
not included food.
its a pain in the ass.
i cant wait for tax time to just get some bills down. :/
