I think my daughter is delayed?

My daughter turned 8 months on the 17th. She only sits, barely rolls. She babbles alot!! Shakes her head no when you say no, she waves. But doesn't crawl, pull self up to sit, pull self to stand and no teeth. Should i be worried?

Not all babies crawl..and my niece didn't get her first tooth until Sue was 13 months old. If you're concerned with your daughter's development, talk to her pediatrician.

My kid didn't crawl till 9 months, or walk till 13 months, but he's a freakin genius! All babies are different... and everything you posted sounds normal.

My daughter didn't crawl until she was almost 12 months. Didn't pull herself up until about 10 months.
But she was "talking" like crazy.
Babies develop at a different rate. Sometimes they focus more on one or 2 things and not bother with others until later.
As far as teeth, the longer is takes to get teeth, the healthier they will be.  
But being 8 months and still no teeth is completely normal.

Nope, sounds normal to me. My dd will be 8 months on February 4th and sounds about the same. She only just got her first tooth. The longer it takes the teeth to come in the stronger they'll be. My dd also babbles a LOT. She's very very social. Social babies usually put all their energy into that. My first dd was the same way. She didn't crawl till 10 months or walk till 16 months but she was saying 10 word sentences and her ABC's by 18 months. You could seriously hold a conversation with her. She could also recognize and write a few letters at 23 months. So sometimes babies who are advanced in one area tend to be a little delayed in another. She'll catch up. One more thing, is she a big baby? It's harder for bigger babies to move around.

My son never crawled or took steps. He stood up and just ran one day. I was so concerned, and his pedi said crawling isn't a crucial milestone.

same here my son never crawled either, just stood up and walked normally

Crazy isn't it?? I was so upset when other babies were crawling, and my son wouldn't.

the only thing concerning is the rolling but clearly she has the trunk muscle or she couldnt sit are you sure she can roll just doesent like to

I think she's doing just fine!

at first it worried me but looking back I got to skip the annoying baby proofing and crawling into stuff etc. I actually never had to baby proof at all for him - freaking nice
