Sigh. Maternity Photos.

We had maternity photos done this weekend and I was miserable the entire time because MIL and FIL invited themselves to help with DS and since they were there he didn't want anything to do with me and wanted to be with FIL because he's like DS's favorite person ever. I got a couple of the pictures today and I just don't like them. What do you guys think? I feel like they look cheap.

They're over edited and unprofessional looking. I feel like we wasted a bunch of money. I would not hang these in my house. This isn't all of them, but if she picked the best ones to put on FB I don't even wanna see the rest  

I think the one of everyone kissing is adorable! I love the name Miles! I think they are a little over edited too. But you all still look very cute.

I think the editing could be better for the first 3 or so... but they are really cute pics

That's the only one I like. Thanks   I hadn't told anyone here the name because I was afraid it would get hated on lol. I'm just mad we paid so much for such bad work. I also wanted those blocks to be centered in front of my belly and she kept moving them. I'm going to have someone else come take that particular picture at my house for me because I want that shot for his room and that one sucks. Sigh.

I see what you mean about the editing, they're still really cute! but not as professional looking as they could be.

i think you guys look adorable and i love the poses!! the set up I don't like.. I wish they would have used a savage background and not that wrinkle kind.. the editing is not very good either. It doesn't look like a professional photographer took them. I hope you guys didn't pay too much.

I just don't care for the background & their really light. She should have the originals maybe she can redo them with less editing. Btw I love the block one & the kissing one

I would ask for my money back because they are over-edited and you are just not happy with them. Maybe find someone else to do them and see if they come out better. Next time don't tell in-laws what you are doing and your son will participate better lol   They are great poses and would've been adorable if she (the photographer knew how to edit)

Did you see the person's work before hand?..I wouldn't have paid for those..but I think the one with the two of them kissing you and your belly is so cute.

I think they all look pretty nice. I have seen fat worse from a profesional. You could always scan them to a computer & re edit for yourself & see if you like them any better. But they are sweet pics & dont look as bad as you think i promise.

They are definitely cute but you're right, they look amateur. Like something someone practicing would have done for free, not someone you would pay a significant amount to.

Maybe you can ask her for the unedited ones and do it yourself or have someone else edit them?

really, I love it!!! sorry you aren't super satisfied though...
