Simple meal ideas
posted 24th Jan
SO shifts got changed at work, and he now has to work 4am til 4pm
I'm usually one for making nice big meals, following step by step off a recipe. But now I want to just do some quick and simple meals, that I can either whip up in half hour, or make some that I can freeze and reheat.
Dinner time is chaotic in the house with 2 kids plus a newborn....HELP!!!

you should invest in a crock pot, ma'am
then you should take yourself right over to pinterest and prepare for your mouth to water and your stomach to growl alot. lol.
seriously, though, do both of those things

If you have a slow cooker there are alot of meals you can just throw in there in the morning and leave them until supper time like pot roast with potatoes and carrots.

I do have a slow cooker, but never use it. I did use it last winter though for more warm hearty meals like casseroles and soups and stuff
