Moving across the country.

So I packed almost all of my clothes today. Besides stuff in the laundry. Well... Flaw in my packing: I forgot to leave out pajamas for tonight and tomorrow night. I forgot to even leave underwear out. Lol.
I pick up SO tomorrow at the airport at like midnight. I haven't seen him in 2 mos and 10 days. We leave on friday for Texas. SO rented a house and has all the furniture.
On a plus side, I found a way to make the crib fit in my teeny tiny Malibu. I made it smaller by taking it apart further. Lol.
Sorry, I'm nervous and terrified to leave my parents and grand parents. I've never been more that 20 minutes away really. I'm excited to start my new life. But inside I'm shaking with fear.

Thanks! Greenville.. Its like an hour Northeast of Dallas. Know anything about the area? Because I don't lol. You can PM if you don't want to spell out anything exact for the public lol.

I am about in Fort Worth so I dont know Dallas too well. You will be about 1 1/12 hours from me.   driving down here is relatively calm with the exception of Dallas, downtown really, but north of Dallas is really nice and calm. People down are mostly hospitable.

I hope so. My SO's son is there. So I have the grandparents to deal with. (mom doesn't live in TX or have custody) so its a little like walking in to the lions den. I don't know anybody else. I have family in Copperas Cove (I think) and in Waco.

I think you will be fine. if not you can always vent to me.. lol

Good luck! It is a scary thing leaving your family! It does get easier though! I moved from Utah to Australia 2 years ago!

I know right? Ha. I like it but it's not home. But I could live here for the rest of my life if I had to..   I just really want to go back home and visit. Haven't been back since moving...

Any move is hard. It will be hard at first, but once you start making friends it gets easier. I didn't start making friends til about 9 months being out here. Being pregnant didn't help either. I was just a mess. I was always skyping with my family. I stayed in my room all day while my husband worked. I couldn't work cause my visa didn't let me. Ha. So my advice would be get out and make friends ASAP! It will help a ton!

So far the only option is church and I'm not a fan. I'll go every once in awhile but I really don't enjoy it. Plus it's open sin.I don't need scary dirty looks haha.
