bleeding too much?

I am 8 weeks pp and I have started my first period (or so i think). I am afraid that I may be bleeding too much. I fill a super plus tampon AND an overnight maxi in like 2-3 hrs. I don't know if this is normal for a first period after a c-section. I asked my mother if it's normal and she said that I might be hemorrhaging. I am going to make an appointment tomoro with my OB so I can find out what's going on. Has any mother had this issue?

If you're losing too much blood you really don't wanna wait

Mine was heavier then normal and it lasted almost a week instead of just the 3 or 4 days I usualy have. It was pretty much the same with both of mine. They were both vbac tho so Im not sure. Its good to call and find out just incase.
