I was doing everything the same til my damn water broke!
This sucks.
I wouldn't mind some coke right now either and it's been like 4ish yrs since I've done that too.

i feel like my patience for the pregnancy symptoms is at an all time low this time around

Well, not until this kid comes out of me.

I'd have to say sleeping on my stomach and back, bending over, sleeping in general, energy drinks, working out, jogging, sushi, drinking wine (ugh I miss you wine...), and having awesome crazy flexable rough sex. ;)

How do they monitor that? Are you just sitting there with a broken sac hoping for no infection as long as you can?
I've never had my water break prematurely.

Pretty much. I have ultrasounds twice a week to check on fluid levels and baby, and they monitor his HB twice a day for 20 mins and take my temp and blood pressure like 6 times a day.
They're also measuring his growth every few weeks because on top of the rupture, I have a partial placental abruption so I'm bleeding and they want to make sure the placenta is still working well enough to keep him growing.
It's honestly a waiting game. It's been 2 weeks and 5 days since I ruptured, and they told me I had approx. 20% chance of making it past the first week but they really didnt expect me to. Well, here I am. Hoping to make it all the way.

Awww, that's cute! What an awesome present for you! haha   I bawled my eyes out my entire 21st birthday then DH and I went and I sat at the bar and didn't drink LOL. We stayed for like 30 minutes just so I could legally go into a bar on my birthday. He had a beer and we sat there and tried to talk over the noise and then we left lol. I did drink my 22nd birthday, but I was pregnant again on my 23rd   I usually only REALLY drink on my birthday and I don't really drink at all unless I'm planning to get drunk, so that one time a year usually does it for me but as soon as I get that positive test it never fails, I suddenly want to go drink lol.

Your hospital won't drug test after birth? I quit smoking marijuana at like 4 months because I heard the hospital will drug test and I wasn't taking any chances. And also because I felt like the baby was feeling it and it made me scared lol

Not unless they have a suspicion. I was supposed to have a home birth anyway so it wasn't an issue.
And no, the baby doesn't feel it lol. It does cross the placenta but not in significant enough amounts for the baby to feel anything from it.

Oh ok that makes me feel better lol. Yeah I can't wait to smoke a little once I come home after the birth. What about smoking and breast feeding?
