Probably....he had that "dream of one boy".....pffffft I have that dream of five + babies....including a set of twins.

My aunt has 7 kids and my grandparents came from big families...1 of13 and one of 9.

I would love to have a big family and live in the wilderness like my aunt

I had a large family too. I have 7 siblings.

We both want 4, but will only have three if we can not afford 4

I'd say definitely give him time, a lot of things can change in just a year even. After Willow's born we can have lots of play dates so he can see how much fun little girls can be.  
But I'd definitely be releasing all kinds of hell onto him for lying like that. That's not right.

*Sigh*....I know ....but its so unsettling to even consider not ever having another baby

pfft. you'll have another. If he doesn't change his mind on his own, then you can tell him how much of an smurf he's being that he gets his "dream child situation" and you get no where near your's. A relationship is about compromises. That's not fair for him to shut out the idea completely like that.

Yeah I dont understand him....he is SO close to his siblings....he wouldnt want the same for his son? He has six siblings!!

I REALLY want a set of twins next time around...but I'm scared of having twins my first Hbac you know?

Omg I used to say if I ever had kids I wanted twins... I think I'd be okay with every aspect of twins except the labor. I can't even imagine pushing out TWO babies naturally. But then again I haven't gone through labor once yet.  
But yeah, I was an only child, it's not fun. I was lucky enough to have cousins that lived so close and was with them practically every day, but even I (who never wanted kids in the first place) want to have another baby a little ways down the road for Willow. Mainly because I know what being an only child is like, and Willow wont have close cousins/family members her age that can act as siblings like I did. I have no idea how I would have kept my sanity without my cousins.

After a month of my daughter being born , my DH said that he wanted to stop with one. I was so upset because I just knew I wanted at least two children. I could feel in my heart that I had more room to love. Now that my DD is getting more active , he really wants her to have a friend/sibling to play with so we are working on #2 now  

Sometimes things have to get easier so they can forget all the bad baby smurf and remember everything that's good!

Noah doesn't even have cousins he can see...except maybe once a year if that.  ....Yeah the double birth thing...is a bit intimidating!!
