Abortion arguments.

I am pro-choice, but I'm not obsessive over it. Except.....when I see a stupid ass Facebook post.

I commented with my opinion and everyone is BEWILDERED that I'm a mother and I am pro-choice. You should have seen them when I stated I would have aborted my son if my situation had been different.

There arguments? "Money isn't everything..all you need is love" "A baby can feel.." "Did your mother abort you?" "Adoption is easy to do..." I could go on.

Are there any LOGICAL arguments towards why abortion should be illegal?

All I'm going to say is facebook is the worst place to have any argument. They are all once sided.

No, there is nothing logical or scientific about being anti-abortion. At the time abortion is legal, the fetus is incapable of consciousness or feeling.

I mean the only logical one depends on believing life begins from conception. But every other one is emotion based. People get crazy about it

(As if the baby will become a scientist and find a cure for HIV, cancer..extra"

I'm 100% pro choice..but ehh...I stay out of the pro choice vs. pro life shenasmurfns.

Smh. Love isnt going to buy diapers, clothes, housing, etc

The only logical reason for it to be illegal is if there was a HUGE population drop and we needed the births.

I don't know, but I agree and hate seeing that stuff on my facebook. Not just abortion, I mean anything political, religious, etc... I NEVER EVER EVER talk about that stuff with people I actually know. It just gets awkward because I am a Christian, and a mother and support a lot of things that aren't typically associated with being a Christian mother, like abortion for example. What really pisses me off though is when a DUDE posts about being pro-life. He will never have to make that choice like a woman does, I don't go around talking about "pro-condom" or whatever.  


ETA: sorry for the mini rant, this was directed towards someone who posts a bunch of stuff that bothers me, but I never say anything.  

I firmly believe that some people should have been aborted. I am a shining example and I love using it in my argument.

i love the little sculptors of fetus's at 12 weeks and they look like they could be 9 months gestation and they smile and etc. im like come on man

It's not even an argument. Just, go strait to hell for saying such things.

Logical? Depends on what you call logical. There are many statements out of the Bible that would justify making it illegal, if someone was a Christian(and it goes way beyond the simple "thou shalt not kill"). That also gives rights to the father of the unborn child, too...it says that if someone harms a pregnant woman, causing harm to the unborn child, the father of the child gets to decide on the fine/punishment.

Abortions run the risk of causing a woman to be infertile(perforation of the uterus, particularly after repeated abortions...it's more rare, but it does happen)

I'm pro-life but I'm not going to try and drill that into someone, but you did ask, so I tried to keep my answer as neutral as possible.

the only logical reason I can come up with is illegalizing it for wirs omen who intentionally use it as a birth control method. like if the woman in question was repeatedly getting pregnant and not using any protection to keep the pregnancies from happening in the first place....like she was just being lazy about it. I don't know I am pro choice and yeah someone getting repeated abortions is their choice....but if you don't want any of the pregnancies why aren't you preventing them?
