Ticker & Picture problem

Why is it that I put the code , where it says " code "
But when I click to save it for the ticker a screen pops up saying " please click on the text where you want your ticker located "
for the pictures , it just says .. wait a moment..
& doesnt seem to upload. I need help , im new .. lol

You're on IE i am assuming. use firefox.
