High FSH Levels

My FSH levels are at 11, is that too high? I took the test the 3rd day of my cycle. Will I have problems conceiving when I start TTC?

What was your AMH? That's considered to be more accurate now.

11 is on the high range, right?   Im really bummed out. I have to wait to TTC because Im taking medication for some medical problems I have.
I took the tests because my mom had menopause at 38 and I wanted to see if I was headed that way.

It is slightly higher than normal but take that with a grain of salt. It simply means your body has to produce more FSH in order to mature your eggs. It says nothing about how many eggs are left or what quality they are. I got a perfectly good normal FSH of 7 but my AMH was so low it barely registered (0.27). The AMH proved to be the accurate one as my ovaries are in fact garbage. I wouldn't worry about the FSH test at all.

Oh Im sorry, that sucks.  
I guess i´ll just have to wait for the AMH results. Thanks!
