I didn't read the replies, but I don't think it had a point.....unless the point was to kick someone while they were down, or rub salt into a wound. I think it was rude and uncalled for. Perhaps they were trying to comfort , but they failed pretty bad if you ask me.

The thought "has a point," but putting words to it during the emotional time is hurtful.

I understand what she is trying to do, but no. She doesn't have a point. It is not her place to say something like that. I heard so much crap when I was 18 and pregnant, had I been there I'd probably stick up for the girl.

I sure hope not, because it's sick. just like its sick to be saying it's for the best when someone miscarries. it just sickens me that someone would say that at all. I hate people

Yep, they had a point & I agree. It still hurts having a miscarriage and it may have been in poor taste to say it that soon. Or it may have been better to say nothing at all and let the girl come to that conclusion all on her own.

Way more times than not, it is simply not ideal for teenagers to have kids.

With that being said, this scenario is completely situational. Some people do have their smurf together at 18 and become great parents.

Without knowing her situation personally, you can't say one way or the other.

I personally agree, but I'd never say that to someone, damn.

She has a point but it's not something you say to a woman miscarrying.

Yeah, we moved and I stopped coming because my anxiety/depression lifted (BG was an outlet for me while going through that) when we moved into a better place. And then I started school.

I've seen you posting around and given your leaning in certain areas, I figured it was you.   hehe
