Well I gues the question is how do u k ow if u are throwing it yourself or not ..like I am having two ..why it's a long story ..my mom is doing that one I am just picking everything out ..so I guess we're is the line ya low

My sister is throwing me one but she knows Im a control freak and is asking my input on everything so Im not worried about it. I wouldnt throw my own though.

If I would be planning it myself (which I wouldn't). I would call it a meet the baby party. If they choose to bring gifts that's up to them. You basically are asking people for gifts IMO when you plan something yourself.

I think it's perfectly fine to throw your own baby shower! Especially if you like things done a certain way... I had two baby showers, both thrown by my Hubby's parents, and honestly I would have much rather done it myself! The next one WILL be done by ME

How do you know they wouldn't have no clue. Your not even giving them the chance to prove to you they can do it. I know about being picky and a control freak but I also know how to let someone else do something nice for me.

I guess I answered my own question.  !! Hahaha my aunt is goin a do it but I am picking everything out and were it will be that's why I thought it might be me throwing my own ....idk haha

Thanks I mean poeple wi help me ..so I am not doing it my own and I don't see how it's selfish if I pay like over 500 dollars for food and games for my guest !!!
